JOHN RAWLINGS - Joe Newell
Having trained with the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts,
John recently played Captain Inquisition in the Tweed Theatre Company's production of Man of La Mancha. He is currently appearing in Me and My Girl for Neptune Productions. John's portrayal of Joe Newell marks his first performance in a leading role.

VERONICA HERD - Margaret Newell
Originally from Scotland, Vera (Veronica) is making her Tweed stage debut in The Road to Victory. With a background in British stage and variety production, Vera also happens to be the grandmother of the actress who plays Billie Bailey, Jo Franklin.

DESIREE RICAUD - Shanni McGee
Another Tweed stage debutant, Desiree is a classically trained dancer and concert pianist. She has performed in numerous dance & revue spectaculars, and has had training with renowned choreographer, Quinton James, of the Sydney Dance Company. She now operates her own school of dance called Doctor Dance.

CHRIS ERICKSON - Nathaniel Rutherford
One of the Tweed's busiest young community theatre actors, Chris has appeared in numerous plays and musicals: The Wizard of Woz, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Fiddler On The Roof, The Paradise Follies Revue, Me and My Girl.

NICHOLAS CANNY - Frank Sutcliffe
Trained with Sydney theatre legend, Hayes Gordon, at the Ensemble Theatre. As a former President of the MTC, he acted in and directed numerous productions, but now specialises in playwriting and production for Uncanny Productions.

BEN HITCHCOCK - Al Grosnovic
With an extensive background in project management, Ben stepped into this challenging role due to a late cast member withdrawal. Making his stage debut in Victory, Ben has a computer engineering degree and is also responsible for Uncanny Productions's website construction and maintenance plus program design.

JO FRANKLIN - Billie Bailey
Jo has been acting, singing and dancing since childhood, first with Kingscliff High School and then attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre from Griffith University. Past credits include Fear, Bats and the female lead in Charades. Jo recently formed her own Tweed-based, Kingscliff Theatre Company and is directing Holy Flypaper! for Uncanny Productions.

KIM DRUM - Lenore Graham
Returning to the stage after a couple of years break, Kim has appeared in past productions with the Murwillumbah Theatre Company. She also happens to be the partner of The Road to Victory's Music Director, Michel Voets.

COLIN ELLIOTT - Rick Smith
A real stalwart actor/director for the Murwillumbah Theatre Co., past productions include Aladdin, The Pied Piper of Hamelin and Rumors. Colin played the bunyip in the MTC's production of The Magic Rainforest, and made an excellent Pa Possum in The Wizard of Woz. Colin also recently directed a sold out season of Dimboola for the MTC.

GWEN JAMES - Leanne Smith
Has an extensive background in community theatre in South Australia where she not only acted in productions, but also put together grant proposals for the Whyalla Theatre Company. Two years ago, Gwen performed in one MTC production and returns to the stage in The Road to Victory for Uncanny Productions.

MICHAEL PARKER - Bernie Peters
More widely known for those zany TV commercials to promote his local furniture and collector's emporium, The Grainery, Michael makes his live theatre debut in The Road to Victory. An avid luxury car owner/driver, Mr. Parker also owns the house at the end of the Sydney street where this play's author grew up.

SAVA DRINKWATER - Robert Haughton
Sava is an accomplished Tweed Valley thespian. With many credits from the Murwillumbah Theatre Company, including Aladdin & The Cave of Terrors and Neil Simon's Rumors in 2004, Sava excelled again last year, playing the all wise, environment-threatened Cudgen Koala in The Wizard of Woz for Uncanny Productions.
