Over the past six months, creating The
Wizard of Woz has meant a great deal of work. And yet its been
a joy about every step of the way. So I want to sincerely thank all the
thirty plus locals who shared my enthusiasm for making Woz such
an exciting reality.
Special
congratulations must go to Music Director, Phil Eizenberg, for his incredible
preludes and tunes; Costume Director, Cheryle Hughan for her amazing costumes;
Set Designer, David Adams and his Job Futures Theatre Works
team for their spectacular backdrops and props.

I personally believe this first production of The Wizard of Woz
epitomises everything that is good about not-for-profit, community theatre.
Amateur music theatre, yes, but also a show with
performance and production values of a professional standard. Long live
the Australian performing arts scene.
So then, all of us involved with The Wizard of Woz hope you really
enjoy your journey up the mountain with Kimberley Clarke and friends.
Esse quam vidiri!
